John McCain's Enneagram Type

John McCain is most often typed as Enneagram type 6 and 8. Here are some links to opinions on his Enneagram type.

The Enneagram Institute (Don Riso, Russ Hudson) types him as 8 with a 9 wing in their discussion on the 2008 presidential candidates.

Lynette Sheppard sees him as type 8.

The Enneagram Examiner (Adrienne Williams) has McCain as a type 8 and explores his shift from his earlier career.

I also see McCain as an 8w9. No other type quite fits on the surface. Exploring his personality in more detail could possibly change my opinion however.
