Barack Obama's Enneagram Type

Barack Obama is most often typed as Enneagram type 9, 3, 1 and sometimes 4. Here are some links to opinions on his Enneagram type.

The Enneagram Institute (Don Riso, Russ Hudson) types him as 3 with a 4 wing in their discussion on the 2008 presidential candidates.

The Ptypes site has Obama as a 9 with a 1 wing.

Clarence Thomson types Obama as a 1.

As an interesting sidenote, Elizabeth Wagele created cartoon depictions of the 9 different types of Obama supporters.

Personally, I see Obama as so/sp 9w1. Although there is a movement to 3 at times, he isn't able to maintain it. He seems to work best in the role of mediator (reaching across the aisle). I sense that he'll actually be a more effective president now that the house and senate are divided between republicans and democrats (this was evidenced during the 2010 lame duck congress).
